The Bionics 1GWA Gas Detection Controller
The Bionics 1GWA is a single channel controller and used to convert a signal from a gas detector into an actual alarm. It displays the concentration level of the monitored gas, indicating by LEDs a safe level (green), an alarm level 1 (orange) or an alarm level 2 (red). In case of an alarm, a buzzer alerts the operator or operators nearby.
Conventionally, controllers are installed separately from the detectors in central (control) card units. The customer has the choice between one channel controllers and eight channel controllers. The last type can handle the signals of up to eight detectors. In that way it saves space and extra wiring.
