Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA)

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) operates under the Australian Government Department of Health. Its primary responsibility is to regulate therapeutic goods within Australia. This includes ensuring that these goods are safe and appropriate for their intended use.

Noventis has installed a state-of-the-art gas detection system at the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Symonston site. With this new system in place, the TGA can proactively detect and respond to any potential gas leaks or hazards, further enhancing the safety of its facilities and operations.

The detection system consists of eight different departments, each with its own dedicated controller. All controllers communicate among each other using the CANBUS protocol. A fire alarm at one controller will not only isolate that controller’s gas solenoids but also affect all other controllers in the field. The system is connected via HLI to the building management system.
